What is bee glue? Another word for bee glue is propolis. It is found in bee hives. Propolis is usually scraped from the bee hives and thrown away by bee farmers. 

Australian bee farmers and honey producers throw away and discard propolis because it is regarded as a nuisance product; a product that is not important. Bee farmers in other countries, such as Brazil, China, and New Zealand, harvest the propolis to use it for making cosmetics in the beauty industry. So, AgriFutures Australia, after assessing the New Zealand bee farm and propolis industry, suggested in 2019 that research was needed in Australia. Researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) in Australia analyzed the chemicals in propolis to determine whether it was beneficial or not.
