It is likely to be the Migratory Locust because scientists studying grasshoppers in the Caucasus and Central Asia say that there are three main locust species in the region: Italian Locust (Calliptamus italicus), Moroccan Locust (Dociostaurus maroccanus), and Migratory Locust (Locusta migratoria migratoria).
