What is urohydrosis?
Urohydrosis is the act of some birds defecating on the scaly part of their own legs.
Why do birds poop on their own legs?

It is a method of cooling down on hot days. The poop cools their legs and it also kills bacteria and germs on their legs.
Vultures, storks, and other birds of prey are known to defecate on their own legs.
