Do Peacocks (or Peafowl) live in trees?

Peafowl are collectively male Peacocks and female Peahens, but mostly people say Peacocks. 

The Indian Peacock (Pavo cristatus), native to India and Sri Lanka, is a large bird in the Phasianidae family.

It has a long train of tail feathers. It can fly, but not very high and not very far. It usually just flutters for a short distance after a few hops or leaps. 

Some people regard it as flightless, but it can fly.

It lives in forests and is a terrestrial feeder, which means that it forages for food on the ground. It eats mostly insects. It spends most of its life on the ground.

When the male sleeps, it roosts in low tree branches at night. The female usually sleeps on the ground. She hides under a shrub, in a nest that is a shallow dent in the ground. She makes the nest, without help from the male.
