Lady’s Maid Butterfly (Vanessula milca latifasciata) is a small insect in the Nymphalidae family of brush-foooted butterflies. It is also called the Black and Orange Butterfly.
The Lady’s Maid Butterfly is bright orange around a central disc. Its wings are bordered with a brown margin.

It grows to about 4 centimetres (1.5 inches) in length.
It is found in West African countries, such Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, Angola, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is also found in East African countries, such as Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia.
It prefers dense forests.
