The Koran Angelfish (Pomacanthus semicirculatus) is a tropical marine (saltwater) fish. It is also known as the Semi-Circle Angelfish or Half-Circle Angelfish.
The Koran Angelfish is brown with circular white and blue lines and mottled markings near its tail. Juveniles are blue-black with narrow white stripes that become increasingly curved closer to its tail.

It measures about 35 centimetres (14 inches) in length.
The Koran Angelfish is native to the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, from Africa to Fiji and Japan, and to Australia. It prefers coral reefs.
It feeds on algae and sponges.
