The African Moustached Warbler (Melocichla mentalis) is an African bird also known as the Moustached Grass Warbler.
The African Moustached Warbler is brown-black with long, broad dark tail feathers and buff tail tips. It has black streaks at the sides of its white throat. It has rufous (red-brown) tinged crown feathers. Its eyes are yellow or cream.

It grows to about 18 centimetres (7 inches) tall.
It is common throughout sub-Saharan Africa, but not in southern Africa. It prefers moist savannahs and tropical or sub-tropical shrublands.
It is insectivorous, eating insects, such as dragonflies.
