The Giant Moray Eel (Gymnothorax javanicus) is a marine fish.

The Giant Moray Eel is a brown snake-like fish with black specks and spots. It has a black patch around its gills. It has small eyes and a small mouth with sharp teeth.

It grows up to 3 metres (almost 10 feet) long.

The Giant Moray Eeel is found in Indo-Pcific waters (Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean), from Africa and the Red Sea to Hawaii, Japan, and Fiji.

It lives in shallow lagoons and coral reefs.

The Giant Moray Eel is carnivorous, eating fish and crabs. It is nocturnal, feeding at night.
