Red-Spotted Beaked Snake

The Red-Spotted Beaked Snake (Rhamphiophis rubropunctatus) is a snake from east Africa.

The Red-Spotted Beaked Snake is a light olive-brown snake with a distinct orange-red head. Its eyes are black.

It grows to about 152 centimetres (60 inches) long.

The Red-Spotted Beaked Snake is secretive and is often found near termite mounds in deserts or semi-desert regions, savannahs, and woodlands.

It is diurnal (active during the day) and terrestrial (lives on the ground), but it will climb small trees.
