What’s the difference between a dog and a dingo?

Dogs and dingoes are both mammals. They are both canids – members of the canine or dog family. Their brains are similar in size.

One difference between dogs and dingoes is their nose.

A dog has a shorter nose (muzzle) than a dingo.

A dingo has a longer nose than a dog.

Another difference between dogs and dingoes is the shape of their head.

A dog has a rounded head.

A dingo has a flatter head.

Dingoes are native to Australia, but dogs live everywhere in every country.

There are more similarities and differences too.
